Writing about yourself!

If you're anything like the musicians I speak to regularly, writing about yourself is one of your least favorite things. Most of us have a hard time writing our own cover letters, resume's, CV's and artists biographies, and often end up searching for templates and blogs online!

Fortunately, I LOVE working on these documents with others, and am here to help you make yours SPARKLE.

Below are some useful resources to get you started, but if you want to make a REALLY great impression, I offer consultations and editing as an independent 3rd party. My goal is to help you truly stand out and to uncover all of the amazing things you've done that can show just how awesome you are (and put it on paper so others can see it too!)

Check out the resources below to get started, then SEND ME AN EMAIL to connect and schedule your consultations!

Whats the difference between a resume and a curriculum vitae?

A resume is a document used to concisely explain your education, experience, awards and relevant skills that would make you eligible (and awesome) at the job you are applying for. These will usually only be one page long, so you want to be sure your most amazing self is showcased, and that it is tailored specifically for the position you are applying to!

A CV (Curriculum Vitae) is a much more detailed document, speaking to an individual's experiences and areas of expertise. This will be much longer than a resume, and a more commonly used when applying for academic/teaching positions.
